Over the past three years, human rights have remained unchanged. We hope the "Stop Violence" project has inspired more people to adopt a new perspective on life. Let's reflect on the key positive developments that have taken place. The spread of gender violence in Romania, limited services and available support for victims are the main challenges addressed by this project. Lack of reaction from the authorities, difficulties in obtaining protection orders against aggressors, lack of information about services dedicated to victims, tolerance of aggression. at the level of society. A monitoring and counseling center was opened for victims of domestic violence in Bucharest, where over 160 people benefited from integrated services, such as psychological counseling, legal and social assistance, training programs. For a number of 21 cases, measures were taken in court regarding protection orders, criminal complaints for acts of violence, divorces, custody of minors. There were 3 information and awareness campaigns on 1. domestic violence: practices related to gender equality and gender violence: 2. violence against children interned in placement centers; 3. the implications of gender violence on discrimination in the workplace. These campaigns were attended by approximately 22 professionals (psychologists, social workers, police, lawyers), 37 victims of domestic violence, 25 volunteers, staff from various specialized institutions, media representatives, the general public through 10 seminars, 4 workshops, 2 trainings, 5 conferences, 2 round tables and website / Facebook. During the 10 months of the project, information and counseling seminars were organized for 65 victims of domestic violence. 10 women took 2 training courses to become support people for victims, 99 people, professionals, volunteers and people interested in domestic violence took information courses, and for 6 volunteers were organized trainings with the center's procedures. The main topics of the conferences and round tables were: the professional life of victims of domestic violence, economic and social violence, women and multiple discrimination. 63% of the target group of the project showed a favorable attitude towards human rights at the end of the project. The total number of direct beneficiaries was 164 people. Placement centers for children without parental care are institutions with a history of abuse and we have closely monitored them to ensure that human rights are respected. Thus, monitoring visits were carried out at 4 placement centers and no human rights abuses and violations were identified. The association has improved its regular communication to the general public about its activities and results and has developed a fundraising strategy campaign to increase the sustainability of interventions.
